BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man has pleaded guilty to a manslaughter charge in connection to killing his wife with an axe in 2024, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said Friday.
Antonio Prieto, 47, killed his wife, 29-year-old Elizabeth Salazar, by hitting her with an axe at their apartment on the 300 block of Rhode Island Street around 3:45 a.m. on Aug. 26, 2024. Salazar was found dead on the bedroom floor.
