SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A resident at Northern Cardinal Rehabilitation and Nursing celebrated her 106th birthday Saturday morning.
Cennie James was born and raised in Suffolk and her family was one of the first peanut farmers in the area, according to the nursing home. The nursing home said during the celebration, James gave those attending words of advice: “kindness goes a long way and to always treat others the way you want to be treated.”
