(WJET/WFXP)– A Pennsylvania man has been handed down his sentence for stealing a car at a New York gas station, then driving it all the way to Tennessee, where he led police on a chase that ended in a rollover crash.
McKean County District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer said 49-year-old Christopher Salonis of Bradford was sentenced to at least 6 months to not more than 24 months in state prison. He will also not be eligible for parole.

Salonis previously pleaded guilty to felony theft by unlawful taking for stealing the car and was extradited back to McKean County for his sentencing on November 13.
According to Nexstar’s WKRN in Nashville, Salonis allegedly pulled a weapon on a gas station attendant in Olean County, New York, took their money before punching them and driving off.
