DALTON, Ga. — Attorneys Nick Jackson and Ben Finley from PFAS Georgia held a town hall meeting in Dalton on Saturday to increase awareness about the presence and affects of PFAS chemicals in North Georgia.
PFAS are a mix of chemicals that date back to world war 2. Made to be heat, water, and stain resistant, they are also known as “forever chemicals”.
PFAS are measured in parts per trillion. For perspective, a part per trillion can be thought of as a drop of water in 20 olympic swimming pools.
