(KRON) — The San Jose Police Department said its officers arrested a convicted felon Friday after locating a reported stolen vehicle.

SJPD said the driver was pulled over near the intersection of Capital Avenue and McKee Road. San Jose police said they discovered an unregistered, loaded firearm on the driver along with a “large quantity of narcotics.”
“The investigation further revealed evidence of narcotics for sales and that the suspect was a convicted felon wanted for a parole violation,” said SJPD in a social media post. “Officers also located ammunition, drug paraphernalia, stolen bank cards, counterfeit currency, burglary tools, and gang indicia.”
Police said the stolen vehicle was towed away from the scene, and the unidentified suspect was booked into jail.
