Hagood Mill is a historical site in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Upstate South Carolina. The mill was established in 1793. The current building dates to around 1845 and has a 20-foot wooden water wheel that is still used to grind grain. The site includes historic cabins, a general store, blacksmith and woodworking shops, and a moonshine still. These features show aspects of the region’s past.
