Tigers For Tomorrow celebrates 20 years in Alabama, announces major expansion, redevelopment plans

ATTALLA, Ala. – This month marks a milestone for Tigers For Tomorrow at Untamed Mountain as the preserve celebrates 20 years in Alabama. Since relocating from Florida in 2005, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit preserve has grown into one of the Southeast’s premier wildlife destinations — home to more than 175 animals, including over 90 predators such as big cats, wolves and bears.

Executive Director Susan Steffens expressed her gratitude to the community: “We are so thankful for our supporters, visitors, volunteers and local partners who have stood beside us over the past two decades. Everything you see here — the animals’ care, their habitats, the visitor experience — has been made possible through your continued support. What looks good on paper looks even better when you’re here.”

In celebration of this anniversary, Tigers For Tomorrow has announced its next major chapter: the Echoes of the Wild Preserve Expansion & Redevelopment Project, a multiyear initiative that will transform and expand the preserve for the future…
