ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man wanted in several domestic violence cases across multiple jurisdictions was taken into custody Friday evening after leading officers on a pursuit through the city, according to the Rochester Police Department.
Just before 7 p.m., officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Alexander Street after identifying the driver, the sole occupant, as having multiple active warrants. Police say the driver refused to pull over, prompting a pursuit that continued through Rochester and ended on Titus Avenue in Irondequoit, where the man surrendered.
The suspect was taken into custody without further incident. He is charged with several domestic-related offenses, including second-degree assault related to a stabbing, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, and fourth-degree criminal mischief…
