It’s been a triumphant week for Tallahassee’s foodies with the return of the 83rd annual North Florida Fair offering new creations mixed with nostalgic classics, and what many have been waiting for, the grand opening of the fast casual restaurants Cook Out and Small Sliders both of which have officially opened their doors.
Stomachs are growling and eyes are getting wider as hungry guests make their way to each site ready to explore the menus and all their glory.
Cook Out is serving
On Nov. 11, the North Carolina-based chain Cook Out which is now located in the former Hardee’s on 1942 N. Monroe St. was welcomed by hungry guests who spent years — yes years — waiting to taste the fresh burgers and hand-spun milkshakes.
The buzz surrounding the restaurant’s debut in the capital city continues to grow and the lines wrapped around the building are evidence of that excitement.
