Timothy Miller is the newest addition to Mississippi College’s Chick-fil-A team. The 20-year-old Clinton native began work this fall, finding not just a job, but a community.
For Miller, who has Down syndrome, the job offers a chance to connect with students his age, gain independence and take steps toward his dream of one day working as a grill master.
Born in Jackson, Mississippi, Miller is the youngest of three siblings. His family moved to Clinton while he was still a child, where he later attended Clinton High School. After graduating in 2024, Miller participated in Project Search, a program that offers internships for young adults with disabilities. He interned at Clinton’s Goodwill and even ended up on television for his participation in the program.
