NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for parts of New Orleans East on Friday, Nov. 14, according to the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans.
SWBNO officials said the advisory impacts the following areas:
- Hayne Boulevard from Lucerne Street to Paris Road
- Paris Road from Hayne Boulevard to N I-10 Service Road
- N I-10 Service Road from Paris Road to Wright Road
- Wright Road from N I-10 Service Road to Hayne Boulevard (Lucerne Street at Hayne Boulevard)
- Michoud Boulevard from Six Flags Parkway/Levee to Dwyer Boulevard
- Dwyer Boulevard from Michoud Boulevard to Alcee Fortier Boulevard
- Alcee Fortier Boulevard from Dwyer Boulevard to Six Flags Parkway
According to the SWBNO, the boil water advisory was issued after a drop in pressure due to a water main break.
