The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is upgrading its technology by adopting the Mark43 Records Management System (RMS). This cloud-based platform is designed to streamline police operations. The transition began on November 4 and 5, 2025. The final data migration is scheduled for November 17, 2025. Mark43 will replace the department’s older software and combine several IT systems into one platform.
Mark43 is already used by other Louisiana agencies, including the State Police and Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. It is also in use in cities such as San Diego, Seattle, Miami, Atlanta, San Antonio, and Washington, D.C. The system is expected to improve coordination and data sharing among law enforcement agencies.
