New Juvenile Curfew Zones Announced for Navy Yard and U Street Corridor This November

Chief of Police Pamela A. Smith announced the creation of two Juvenile Curfew Zones in Washington, D.C. This action is based on the Juvenile Curfew Second Emergency Amendment Act of 2025. The zones are the Navy Yard and the U Street Corridor. Each area has specific boundaries.

The curfew will be enforced from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, and Sunday, November 16, 2025. During these hours, people under 18 cannot gather in groups of nine or more in public places or businesses within the zones. Exceptions apply for certain activities.
