On Oct. 24, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced the opening of 55 new missions around the world in 2026.
“The 55 new missions, which will be created by adjusting the boundaries of existing missions, will bring the number of Church missions around the world to 506,” said Church Newsroom.
