A Sinclairville man has been charged with criminal possession and criminal use of a firearm in the village. On Saturday around 11:35 PM, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and State Police responded to an address on Main Street for a reported altercation where a male had allegedly discharged a shotgun. Officers later identified the male as 28-year-old William Borkowski, Jr., who had also allegedly fled the scene. Following a thorough investigation, police had located Borkowski and took him into custody. Borkowski was charged with 2nd-degree criminal possession of a weapon, 2nd-degree criminal use of a firearm, 1st-degree reckless endangerment, and 2nd-degree menacing. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail and is being held on $100,000 bail. Borkowski will answer the charges…..
