Lafayette Parish voters renew millage for roads and bridges

Lafayette Parish voters on Saturday renewed a 4.47 mill property tax that provides funding for the repairs to upkeep of parish roads and bridges.

According to the Louisiana Secretary of State, 69% of those casting ballots Saturday decided to renew the millage that provides $12.7 million to fund things such as roadway resurfacing, widening, bridge replacements and grass mowing.
