SEDGWICK COUNTY—The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal car-pedestrian crash that occurred early Sunday morning near Kansas 15 Highway and MacArthur Road in Sedgwick County.
Just after 12:30 a.m., a Sedgwick County Sheriff’s deputy came upon a collision on southbound Kansas 15 Highway just south of MacArthur, according to Sheriff’s Department Spokesman Branden Stitt.
The deputy located a 33-year-old Newton man with critical injuries after being struck by a car. The deputy immediately began life-saving measures while Sedgwick County EMS and Sedgwick County Fire District 1 responded to the scene.
