BOISE, Idaho — Boise State University is seeing record use of its campus food pantry, with more students relying on the service than ever before. University officials say the pantry recorded 6,600 student visits in October alone, reflecting a growing need for food assistance on campus.
The pantry is supported by about 20 different contributors, including Albertsons, Jackson’s Food Stores and community members who donate fresh produce and other staples to keep shelves stocked.
