Tucson, AZ – A storm system tracking across Southeast Arizona today will bring noticeably cooler temperatures, pockets of light rainfall, and breezy to locally windy conditions across the region. Minor impacts are expected, but brief episodes of reduced visibility are possible due to blowing dust along the leading edge of the front.
According to the National Weather Service Tucson office, rainfall totals will remain light for most of the area. Valleys across Tucson, Marana, Vail, and surrounding communities may see only a few hundredths of an inch to 0.10 inches of rain. Higher terrain areas, including the Catalina and Rincon Mountains, could pick up one-third to one-half inch of rain.
