PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — One of Vancouver’s “must-try restaurants” is entering a new era.
After around 14 years, The Mighty Bowl owner Steve Valenta has announced that he is selling the business defined by dishes that are free of artificial preservatives, chemicals or food dyes.

“It’s been just clean food, whole food ingredients from day one and, in that, I just can’t say thank you enough for supporting us and making us into what we are today,” Valenta said in an Instagram post. “But it’s time for a change. I feel that my time of leading and running the Mighty Bowl has run its course and so I’m seeking to find who in our community wants to take this vision and really take it to the next level.”
The company offers three locations, including a Hazel Dell food cart, brick-in-mortar restaurant in Downtown Vancouver and a mobile food truck that stops throughout the city.
