HONOLULU (KHON2) – The Hawaiʻi Active Seniors Expo was held Friday and Saturday, Nov. 11 to 12, at the Hawaiʻi Convention Center. Seniors from all over came to learn, have fun, and visit different booths.
Blue Shield Security at expo highlights kupuna safety and independence
The event was free and ran from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days, where visitors sat in on seminars about health, safety, dental care, energy savings, and community resources.
Groups like the Elderly Affairs Division, Queen’s Dental Clinic, the Honolulu Fire Department, and Hawaiʻi Energy gave short presentations.
People also walked through the exhibitor area, where they could get information, try demos, and talk with local organizations that help seniors.
