DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. — A 20-year-old man from Georgia is facing multiple felony charges after deputies say he attempted to smuggle a stolen firearm into the Douglas County Jail by hiding it in his body during booking. The shocking discovery, described by officials as one of the most bizarre and dangerous contraband attempts they’ve seen this year, was made during a search following the man’s arrest on unrelated charges.
