MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are investigating a shooting Saturday night at a Frayser smoke shop that left one man dead and two others in critical condition, according to officials.
A scary Saturday night at Sonny Exotics’s Smoke Shop in Frayser was caught on camera as multiple people can be seen running outside the store at 10:21 p.m.
One man didn’t make it far, as others trampled over him. He was on the ground, in the doorway for nine minutes before Memphis Police arrived on on the scene.
Next door at Magic Wireless, WREG met the store’s owner, who would not speak on camera but showed us inside his store where multiple bullets entered. One hitting the wall, another hit a glass case full of merchandise, and one more hitting his computer.
He said he spoke with the owner of Sonny Exotic’s who is currently in the hospital after getting shot in the back. He was told the altercation happened between two customers inside the shop, but he was unclear why they were fighting. This account matches what police reported…
