VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Rockafeller’s Restaurant is auctioning off its kitchen equipment, furnishings, and memorabilia following its closure earlier this month.
The longtime Rudee Inlet staple, which shut down Nov. 2 after 37 years in business, has listed nearly 1,000 ots of items for sale. The online-only auction is open now at Auction757.com and runs through Nov. 18.
According to the auction site and a post on Rockafeller’s social media, items up for bid include indoor signage, driftwood lighting, holiday décor, the hostess stand and the blue mosaic dolphin that once stood at the front of the parking lot. Restaurant equipment such as ovens, fryers, prep tables and shelving units is also available, along with dining room furniture, logoed shirts, china, glassware and other memorabilia.
