LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) -Lincolnites lined K street downtown on Sunday to celebrate those who served the country for Lincoln’s seventh annual veteran’s day parade.
“This year the theme for it is 250 years of defending freedom,” parade commander Antonio Marino said. “Army, Navy, Marine Core. It’s been 250 years since our formation.”
Dozens of cars, motorcycles and inflatables formed a caravan of waving American flags near the state capital building for the parade. Many in it were veterans themselves, dishing out candy to the kids on the side of them road while enjoying the sweet sight of some well-deserved thanks…
