ALBANY — The ice rink at Swinburne Park will be closed to the public for a second straight winter.
The rink was shut down in December 2024 after city officials discovered a leak in the roof. The leak was traced back to a problem with the installation of solar panels on the roof. The panels were installed several years ago by Monolith (the once-rising Rensselaer-based company that fell into financial trouble in 2018 and has since gone out of business).
