CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Dozens of people were arrested by federal agents during the first weekend of Border Patrol’s “Charlotte’s Web” operation in North Carolina, according to a top-ranking official.
Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino said that on Saturday, Nov. 15 — the first day that arrests were seen — 81 people were arrested in the Charlotte area.
Bovino said on social media that of those 81 people arrested, “many” had “significant criminal and immigration [histories].” Those arrests, he claimed, happen within about a five-hour timeframe…
