Community prepares to oppose controversial zone change

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – In an 8-2 vote, Lexington’s Planning Commission approved a change to rezone the Aylesford neighborhood to make room for an eight story residential complex.

Commission staff recommended the approval, arguing the move follows Lexington’s Comprehensive Plan and would offer more housing for UK students.
