ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Saturday afternoon, many in the Rochester region and surrounding counties saw several on-and-off storms with hail the size of quarters. For homeowners, that type of precipitation can get costly.
News 8 spoke with Dino Kotrides, a Managing Partner with Royal Roofing, to see how this has impacted the business. According to him, the Rochester region had not often dealt with hail, but over the last few years, it has worsened, and his company has only become busier.
“We really have almost never dealt with hail. It’s become a concern now for probably the past two or three years,” he said. “People aren’t used to it, but we’re getting more and more used to it.”…
