Todd Snider, the freewheeling Americana troubadour whose wry humor, restless spirit and tender songwriting earned him a cult following across generations of roots music fans, has died. He was 59.
Snider’s record label announced that the Oregon-born singer died Friday, Nov. 14, just days after canceling his Bay Area tour dates following an assault and arrest in Utah.
