Syracuse Police internally investigating use of force during arrest

Syracuse police officers apprehended two teenagers after running from a stolen vehicle on Interstate 81. The incident began when officers were investigating a stolen vehicle complaint and observed two individuals operating the vehicle. The suspects crashed and abandoned the vehicle on I-81, leading to a foot chase near Truth Terrace and Oakwood Avenue.

Both teens were taken into custody, with one apprehended after a brief struggle. They have been criminally charged.
