North Charleston, South Carolina. The North Charleston Police Department reports that an 18-year-old suspect has been apprehended in connection with a shooting outside Northwoods Mall on November 8.
Jaipell Hope turned himself in to authorities on Friday morning. According to investigators, Hope shot a man victim on the sidewalk outside the mall. Thankfully, the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
Detectives believe the incident stemmed from a previous altercation between Hope and the victim that occurred two years ago, when both were high school students. Neither individual is currently enrolled in school, and their encounter at the mall is thought to have been coincidental…
