CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A vacant building on King Street that is at-risk of collapse is set to be demolished this week.
Charleston city leaders said that the project could begin as early as Monday. Demolition was expected to begin Nov. 14; however, construction crews said the building contained asbestos and the site had to be fully contained and soaked before any demolition could occur.
