TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WSAV) — The Tybee Island Police Department (TIPD) is encouraging residents to register loved ones in Logan’s List, a voluntary database of residents with special needs.
Named after a teenager with special needs, Logan’s Law allows counties in Georgia to create a database where residents with physical, mental or neurological conditions can offer their information to help first responders offer more compassionate care during emergencies.
Here, caregivers or guardians who have a family member with special needs can include their information in the registry every year. The registry is private and confidential…
