(WLUK) — The ice may look solid and safe, but one step in the wrong place, and it can turn deadly. Across Wisconsin, ice conditions are becoming increasingly dangerous — a risk that’s growing as Wisconsin winters become warmer.
Ice rescues are nothing new for the Brown County Sheriff office, as they happen every winter. But what’s causing them is starting to change.
