Lafayette Parish voters on Saturday renewed a 3.81 mill property tax that funds public health and services.
Results from the Lousiana Secretary of State show 70% of those casting ballots Saturday decided to renew the millage that provides $10.8 million to fund things such as drainage, rural fire protection, the animal shelter, mosquito control, the coroner’s office and public health services.
