MADISON, Wis. — The First Warn Weather team is gearing up to provide the latest forecast, especially for Tuesday, as a wintry mix is expected.
Meteorologist Savanna Brito says the greatest chance of snowfall accumulations under an inch will occur Tuesday from 12 to 3 a.m., along with a timeline provided on her Facebook page.
The latest timeline as of Monday morning is as follows:
- Rain/snow mix expected to take place between 6 to 9 p.m. Monday.
- A mix to snow, especially north of Madison, will occur from 9 p.m. to midnight on Monday.
- Snow across most of the area from 12 to 3 a.m. This is the greatest chance for accumulation.
- Rain will begin to mix back in from 3 to 6 a.m. Tuesday.
- Precipitation will then begin to move north from 6 to 9 a.m.
