SIOUX CENTER—Randy Feenstra’s statewide tour as part of his campaign to be governor of Iowa came close to having a slight hiccup because the job he has now almost interfered with the job he wants.
The U.S. Representative of Iowa’s 4th District and Hull native was set to kick off his statewide tour Monday with the first stop at the place he used to be a business professor — Dordt University in Sioux Center.
But less than 24 hours before Feenstra was set to take the stage in the De Yager Student Activity Center at Dordt, news came out that the U.S. Senate had reached a deal to end the government shutdown…
