The same restaurateurs who already have three restaurants in Wichita and one in Benton are about to open their newest concept in Derby.
John Arnold and his business partner Lauren Irwin — who also own two Deano’s restaurants and Oak & Pie in Wichita as well as Stearman Field Bar & Grill in Benton — say that they’ll soon launch an invite-only soft opening for their new Morgan’s Steakhouse at 3201 N. Rock Road in Derby.
The restaurant, which the owners first announced in February 2023, will open to the public on Dec. 1.
Irwin describes Morgan’s as what would happen if “Redrock and Texas Roadhouse had a baby but made it more modern and open and airy and light.”…
