LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Allegiant Air pilots nationwide plan to picket on Tuesday to demand an end to ongoing negotiation delays.
More than 1,400 Allegiant Air pilots, represented by Teamsters Local 2118, across 22 different airport bases will participate in the demonstration. The pilots are requesting a fair contract with better pay and work-life balance.
Pilots want to remind Allegiant that their planes won’t fly without them. “By failing to offer a fair contract, Allegiant is losing talented and experienced pilots to competitor airlines and jeopardizing local routes,” said Teamsters in a statement…
