EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio (WKBN) — The East Liverpool Police Department is searching for the owner of a “starved and neglected” dog in Northeast Ohio.
‘Becoming more outraged’: Are animal abuse rates going up in Northeast Ohio?
The animal was dropped off on Ravine Street early Sunday afternoon, according to a recent ELPD Facebook post. Police believe it may have been thrown from a moving vehicle.
Officers are working to retrieve camera footage from the area of Bradshaw and Ravine between 5 and 5:30 p.m. Sunday. They encourage anybody who has a security camera in that area to check their footage.
