BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man from Ghana admitted to an extortion charge after he used nude photographs of a victim to blackmail him in 2022, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Officials said 21-year-old Cross Abu Cole accessed the Snapchat account of a minor victim from Buffalo on Oct. 30, 2022. Cole used photographs found on the account to blackmail the victim as he threatened to send the photos to family and friends if the victim did not pay $200.
