Lauren Hill’s legacy endures as parents mark 10 years of cancer research dedication

CINCINNATI (WKRC) — In a decade, much can change, but the commitment of one set of Indiana parents has not.

Their daughter, Lauren Hill, battled brain cancer, and they were drawn to the cause. Despite how tough it became, their dedication never wavered.

Forever 19, Hill is remembered for playing in her first college basketball game at Mount St. Joseph University and for her courageous fight with brain cancer.

Hill would have turned 30 this year. Her mother, Lisa Hill Fenstermaker, called it an “a-ha kind of moment because in your brain, you know time freezes, but then everything moves forward at the same time.”…
