COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Columbus Fire & EMS will begin issuing citations for all fire lane violations starting January 1, 2026.
The enforcement follows Columbus Code of Ordinances and the International Fire Code with Georgia Amendments, according to city officials.
