Wrong Way Driver Killed in Fiery I-84 Crash Near Mountain Home

Idaho State Police say a wrong-way driver was killed and a semi truck driver was airlifted to the hospital after a fiery crash on Interstate 84 early Monday morning east of Mountain Home.

Wrong Way Pickup Collides With Semi Truck on I-84 East of Mountain Home, Idaho

According to a news release from Idaho State Police, the crash happened around 1:20 a.m. on Monday, November 17, in the westbound lanes of I-84 near mile marker 102 in Elmore County.

Troopers say a 2017 Dodge Ram 2500 was heading east in the westbound lanes when it ran head-on into a westbound semi truck and trailer. Both vehicles burst into flames on impact and were quickly engulfed in flames
