A man who was transported to the hospital in critical condition has died from his injuries following a shooting in Huntsville, according to Huntsville Police.
Just before 5 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 4700 block of Mastin Lake Road for a reported shooting. Michael Nathanael Darden, 25, of Huntsville, was found with a gunshot wound. Despite lifesaving efforts by officers and HEMSI, Darden later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
