MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A Mobile man who admitted to holding up a bank in Bay Minette will go to prison for nearly eight years, a federal judge ruled today.
Dondi Pettway in August pleaded guilty to bank robbery. The holdup happened in June at the United Bank branch across from the Baldwin County Courthouse.
Prosecutors say Pettway walked in and handed a note to the only teller. Court records show he told the teller to hurry up and said, “Don’t make me pull this gun.”…
