A Leesburg man was arrested for battery after allegedly headbutting his mother when she refused to buy him a new bed.
Deputies responded to a battery complaint involving 20-year-old Abram Thaddius Jos Pouline and his mother around 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
His mother explained that the incident began with a heated argument about their household cat defecating on Pouline’s bed. She said no when he asked her to buy him another bed, causing him to become angry. He then got close to her and yelled in her face, the report said.
Shortly after, he suddenly and forcefully headbutted his mother on the upper left side of her lip. He proceeded to intentionally disorganize the house, including tipping over garbage pails and knocking over a multi-level cat treehouse.
