Lauderhill Woman Stable After Stray Bullet Strike, Police Seek Suspects in Shooting Incident

A woman is currently stable after being struck in the leg by a stray bullet in Lauderhill, an incident that prompted a swift response from paramedics and police. According to WSVN, the victim was found outside her home on the 3100 block of Northwest Second Street yesterday evening.

Following the ShotSpotter’s alert which indicated multiple rounds had been fired, police arrived around 7:30 p.m. and found the injured woman. Rushed to Broward Health Medical Center, she was reportedly stable after the shooting which happened outside of her home where she was hit by a bullet. NBC Miami reports that a gathering was taking place at her residence when an argument escalated and gunfire broke out.

The ensuing investigation by Lauderhill Police has yet to shed light on a possible motive for the attack. Information about the shooter or shooters has not been provided by the authorities at this time…
