A former student of Virginia Tech recently took to social media to share a fascinating tale of a hidden engineering class prototype that he left behind in his dorm room in Pritchard Hall, about 20 years ago. The ex-student, who lived in the dorm in 2006, revealed that he had hidden the prototype behind a panel in his room before moving out. He believes the room number might have been 4010, located on the 4th floor, halfway down a hall on the left. The room had a sink and closets on the right upon entering, and the panel was near the far wall, held on by screws, opening up to a void space shared by the adjacent room. The former student is curious to know if the rooms have been renovated since his time and if anyone is willing to track down the hidden prototype. Read more…
